Just got back from today’s fishing trip, I need to celebrate my huge success.
Its amazing what I caught today, to celebrate this catch today we are having Steak and Lobster for Lunch with a full champagne silver service.
No matter what the size its an acheivement in my mind.

Just to let you know I have damaged my right leg badly a few days ago during a training session.
The pain was terrible and I am concerned about the damage it may have caused, but not all is lost. I wont give in and now I am seeing a specialist and my leg is back on track again.
No matter what, I am doing the 3 peaks even if I have to crawl, I wont let any children down.
Swelling has now gone, but its still very painful, finding it hard to bend down and use my leg to get back up again, cant do any sprinting at present.
Will be trying to get back on my push bike on Wednesday the 24th June to see how that goes, fingers crossed.

As you know on the 23rd July Andy & I are doing the 3 Peaks Yorkshire challenge.
But as a test run we did this weekend (13th June 2009) Whernside which is the highest of the 3 peaks at 2415 feet above sea level with a total climb up of 1760 feet.
My 7 year old daughter Eloise did this with my Wife Carolynne & Crystal my 11 year old daughter who has Asthma.
It was a very tearful moment to see my 7 year old daughter manage this very tough event, when many adults around her were giving in. She also completed Whernside in the time allowed to do all 3 peaks within the 12 hours!!!
Not only did she do this, we then went from Whernside to Ingleborough and walked by road all the way back to the car that was parked at the Viaduct!! adding an additional 3 miles to the journey.

This is me at the top of Whernside, this is an amazing experience and a view to die for.
It was an amazing adrenaline rush for me and i found it to be an amazing feeling, apart from being eaten to death almost by some very hungry little flies, yep the little blighters got me big time.

Leather Prep – This is a solvent based cleaner used to remove any dirt from the surface of the leather. More importantly though, it degreases the leather and removes the manufactured finish allowing the colour to penetrate and adhere to the leather in a better fashion. Alcohol Cleaner – A mild cleaner to remove any waxes or silicones on the leather.
Leather Colourant – A water based leather colourant, firstly padded on to the leather to create a base and then sprayed on to create a nice even finish.
Leather Finish – A professional leather finish used to seal in the colourant. Exceeds colour fastness tests to ensure long lasting and durable leather. Transparent finish available in matt, satin & gloss.
Spray Gun – An adujstable spray gun used by professionals in the leather repair trade to apply the colourant in a thin even coat.
Sponges – Perfect applicators used to apply a thin base coat of colour.
Accessories – Detailed instructions, latex gloves, lint free cloths, abrasive pad.

This car seat has been damaged by general wear and cracking over many years . By mixing up the colour exactly each scratch can be repaired individually creating an invisible repair.
Due to the extent of this damage a colour repair kit was necessary, however if you just have light scratches on the surface (hair line) and they are a lighter colour than the leather you can simply use the leather re-colouring balm

It can be used to repair colour on all types of leather except suede, nubuck and aniline leathers. For aniline and pull up leather use the leather re-colouring balm.
